HandiBus Operator

Calgary HandiBus Operators are responsible for providing safe, courteous, reliable door to door transportation to persons with disabilities.

Preference will be given to applicants having experience with the mobility needs of persons with disabilities. The successful candidates will possess effective communication skills, flexibility, sound judgment and the ability to learn, retain and apply new concepts. The applicant must have a valid class 1, 2 or 4 Alberta Operator's license with a clean driver's abstract. A security clearance, medical and physical assessment will be required. In addition, knowledge of First Aid and Propane Fuelling would be considered definite assets.

Starting hourly rate for Casual and Part-Time Operators is $15.12.
